New Xbox One And PlayStation 4 Rentals From Rentacomputer.com

We are sorry to inform you that Rentacomputer.com no longer offers the Xbox One or Playstation 4 as rental products.

Rentacomputer.com has been in the technology rental business for over 20 years. Over time, Rentacomputer.com’s inventory of technology has grown with the times. When desktops turned into all-in-ones, when laptops turned into Ultraportables, and when Ultraportables turned into tablets, Rentacomputer.com was ready to offer them all.

Well now, Rentacomputer.com has updated its rental inventory even further with the addition of gaming console rentals. Rentacomputer.com has long since provided peripherals for gaming tournaments, like plasma screens, network solutions and other things but we have never offered the actual consoles, which are the essential part of any great tournament.

If you aren’t current in today’s gaming culture then let me get you up to speed. The two biggest names in the console gaming market these days are Sony and Microsoft with both companies offering similar products. On the one hand you have Sony’s PlayStation 4, the 4th generation console in Sony’s long line of successful in-home gaming devices. On the other hand you have Microsoft’s Xbox One, the 3rd generation console from the computer company.

Each console is unique and has a strong core following of fans and Rentacomputer.com is excited to be offering these fans the ability to rent their favorite console for a variety of reasons. Since console rentals are a new venture for Rentacomputer.com, only the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are available (sorry Nintendo fans).

Renting an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 can be perfect for a lot of different situations. Hosting a kids birthday party and need something for the kids to occupy themselves throughout the night? Hook them up with the latest in console gaming. Hosting a tournament and need one or two more consoles to accommodate all the players? Rent one! There are literally no limits.

However, before you jump into renting one of these awesome devices you have to know what you want and what you are getting so here is a rundown of the specs for each device:

Xbox One

  • 8 cores
  • 1.31 TFLOPS , AMG CGN CPU
  • 8GB DDR3 RAM
  • 500GB HDD
  • Blu-ray Drive
  • Integration with Xbox Smartglass App

PlayStation 4

  • 8 Cores
  • 1.84 TFLOPS, AMD Radeon GPU
  • 8GB GDDR5 RAM
  • 500GB HDD
  • Blu-ray Drive
  • Integration with PlayStation 4 App

Each console offers relatively the same stats, though Microsoft’s Xbox One is being pushed as an all-in-one, home entertainment system that allows you to integrate your TV, music and every other aspect of technology through your console. Having seen the Xbox One play out in person, I can tell you that the all-in-one features are pretty cool.

The PlayStation 4 is aimed more towards straight gaming. While it doesn’t have all the features of the Xbox One it does offer a solid gaming experience with slick and realistic graphics and some really awesome game titles.

With a rental from Rentacomputer.com, you can get an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 for however long you need it for, whether it be one day or one year. In addition to that, you aren’t locked into a contract with Rentacomputer.com, meaning you can stop your rental whenever you want.

If you are interested in owning one of these devices then that can also be arranged. Rentacomputer.com offers customers a buyout option. After 11 months of consecutive renting Rentacomputer.com allows you to purchase the console for a 12th and final monthly payment.
