The Business of Software 2015 event brings together three days of peer learning designed specifically for leaders of the world’s premiere software businesses. The 3 day conference is for anyone starting or growing a software business and covers everything you need to know about building a successful, sustainable company aside from the code. In addition to that, this conference gives hardworking founders a place to meet each other and lift their heads from the daily grind as well as a chance to work on their companies instead of working in their companies.
This year’s speakers have yet to be determined but former speakers include the likes of Javaranch Founder Kathy Sierra, Constant Contact CEO Gail Goodman, author Eric Ries, Reddit Founder Alexis Ohanian, Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School Clayton Christensen and Founder of The Business Model Foundry Alex Osterwalder.
But why should you come to the Business of Software event of 2015? Well a short video on the event’s website shows you firsthand what you can expect from the event but you will also be able to experience:
- Practical learning from the best in the field: Speakers at previous events have included Hubspot’s Dharmesh Shah, Stack Exchange’s Seth Godin and Joel Spolsky, Reddit’s Alexis Ohanian and Clayton Christensen, Atlassian’s Geoffrey Moore and Scott Farquhar, Javaranch’s Eric Ries and Kathy Sierra and 37 Signals’ Jason Fried.
- Insight from your peers: In addition to the speakers , the Business of Software community is made up of senior managers – founders, product people, marketers – who are working on similar problems. Drawing on their experience is a very important part of what people get from Business of Software. Come prepared to learn from those ahead of you and teach those behind you.
- Space to think and plan for the next year: Many delegates use Business of Software as a regular planning exercise, leaving with adjusted strategies and new plans for all areas of their business. Some find solutions for chronic problems that have been building for months or years. Others simply enjoy benchmarking their achievements against the industry.
The Business of Software 2015 event will be taking place in Boston, Massachusetts from September 21st through September 23rd with registration now open.
