22nd Annual Chicago Underground Film Festival


The Chicago Underground Film Festival is set to take place from May 13th to May 17th at the Logan Theater. The Chicago Underground Film Festival is an annual event showcasing independent, experimental and documentary films from around the world and is one of the quickest established film festivals around, having done so in only 6 years.

OPENING & CLOSING NIGHT
$15 All Access Ticket. Provides entry to the Screening & After Party

Opening night after party will take place at Elastic Arts Center immediately following the screening of Ruined Heart, featuring musical performances by Petras, Tarnation, Khavn (director of Ruined Heart) and a live film performance by Michael Morris.

Closing night film, Burnt in Memory, features a live musical performance by Azita Youssefi on piano, Amber Amar-Walton on cello, Justin Martin on guitar, Nandini Khaund on the Folktek Quadrum, and Ben Clarke as musical director. Rather than composing restrictive melodies and rhythms the musicians played just as freely and uninhibited as “Burnt in Memory” was photographed.
