EXHIBITOR, The World Conference and Exhibition for Trade Show and Corporate Event Marketing, meets every year at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Los Vegas. The Show’s exhibit hall has hundreds of different exhibits that offer training to help solve tough trade show and corporate issues for it’s attendees. Based on this years success alone, with exhibit sales and even the pre-registration, it continues to prove that the trade show industry is still going strong and even growing.

This year, more than 258 exhibitors took up more than 60,000 square feet of space. Those numbers are just from the exhibitors that registered two months before the show, and it is already about a 20 percent increase from the previous year which has 219 exhibitors who took up about 52,000 square feet. Even advanced registration was up by about 10 percent from the previous year. This is a huge success and promises a very bright future for the industry.

In January, exhibitors had already booked more than 62 percent of the total floor space. The show has been growing consistently every year since 2011.

“This increase in attendance is another positive sign because it shows that companies which exhibit at trade shows are once again willing to budget for their employees’ education,” said Carol Fojtik, Show Director.

One of the biggest things to celebrate about this years show was the massive increase in international participants. 41 exhibitors from 9 different foreign countries had their own booth space in 2013. This includes exhibitors from Canada, Germany, China, Japan, Belgium, Hong Kong, India, Russia, and Spain. In addition to that, there were attendees from all 50 states and 40 different countries around the world.

“We are especially pleased with the international contingent,” said Fojtik in another statement. “The international exhibitors are telling us that they are coming to connect with US exhibitors, both to find outlets in America and to help US companies expand their overseas business.”
